Envelope Addressing Template Generator
Plan the address before you pick up your pen. Start with blank baselines, or add text that stays only in this tab.
Ready-made printables
Check your paper size and actual-size print settings before making an envelope guide. This separate checklist does not contain your address or certify postal compliance.

Align, tape, test—then letter
This creates a template on paper, not a direct-envelope printer preset. Print at 100%, measure the 50 mm rule, then align your closed envelope with the outline. Hold the guide with removable tape or use it underneath translucent stock. Test on scrap before working on the finished envelope. Never force unsupported envelopes through a printer.
The dashed margin, address block and optional postage box are planning guides. They do not guarantee postal compliance; check local requirements and keep mailed addresses legible. The script choices are decorative typography, not handwriting instruction.
Choose paper and ink for your project
Compare calligraphy paper types before using translucent stock. For dark envelopes, see the metallic calligraphy tutorial and test drying time. Use the ink calculator to estimate supplies for a batch.
For invitation suites, continue with wedding calligraphy, the calligraphy layout planner, or the letter-spacing guide. Add matching names with the gift tag generator.
